Iberoamerican Congress on Open Science

Call for Spanish-speaking MB members

Nicolás Alessandroni and Krista Byers-Heinlein (Concordia University, Canada) are working on an oral communication proposal about ManyBabies for the 1st Iberoamerican Congress on Open Science. The presentation will be in Spanish and focus on introducing ManyBabies and its different projects to the Iberoamerican community, highlighting how big team science collaborations can contribute to fostering the implementation of open science practices. If you are a Spanish speaker and would like to collaborate in preparing the proposal, please contact Nicolás before September 8.

MB3N: Rule Learning fNIRS

After 4 years of no in person conferences, the Society for functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy is holding its next meeting in Boston, USA, between 8-12 Oct 2022. The MB3N team will be presenting the project to the broader fNIRS community, hoping to spread the word not only about the project, but about replication and open science practices as well.

Make sure you are subscribed to the MB3N listserv to receive updates and info about project meetings.

MB4: Social Evaluation

MB4 has launched data collection and we invite new labs to join us! Sign up at this link and please help us spread the word. This form is different than our earlier “in principle” sign up - if you are unsure if you completed the official sign up you can contact Kelsey. Information about participating is found in the MB4 Big Manual. We ask that labs collect a minimum of 16 infants, and complete data collection by August 2023.
