MB7 Launch Events!

MB7: Curiosity kicked off this week with a pair of open meetings. Project Lead Elena Altmann shared info about the history and status of the project and answered questions from the community. If you missed it, you can watch the recording here

Theory of Mind

The MB2P: Pupil Dilation spin-off is moving to the next phase of drafting the manuscript. Updates are provided on the #mb2p-pupillometry Slack channel and on the taskforce landing page HERE.

Rule Learning

The main MB3 study received reviews from Developmental Science! The revised manuscript and response letter has been drafted and circulated among MB3 collaborators for comments. We are aiming to resubmit in (early) February.

The MB3P: Pupil Dilation spin-off is picking up momentum! The core analysis team inventoried available data and the current estimate is that we have pupil size data from 150+ infants during both familiairization and testing stages of the experiment.

Hunter & Ames Model of Infant Attention

Thanks to all of the labs preparing their ethics applications for MB5! A reminder that we are still finalizing study materials (e.g., questionnaires, stimuli, experiment programs) and aiming to start data collection in a few months.
