Project Updates

MB2: Theory of Mind

We already have data from 26 labs and are expecting at least 10 more, but we need help writing eye-tracking data import scripts!

If you use R and tidyverse and would like to help us merge together this monster dataset, we’d love to have you on the analysis team, which will be meeting weekly for next few months. Please reach out to Mike Frank if you’d like to join.

MB3: Rule Learning

Data collection is in full swing for MB3! Currently, 21 labs have been greenlit, for a total sample size of over 450 infants. Some labs already submitted their data with one lab contributing 80 participants, which is fantastic! We continue to welcome labs to sign up and contribute data for the main project as well as the MB3T spin-off project. Please check the MB3T Lab Manual and email Anna Exner to indicate your interest.

MB researchers have submitted together for an MB workshop at BCCCD in Budapest, Jan 4-6 covering MB3, MB3NIRS & MB3T. MB3T will be presented at the BTS conference October 23-25, online.

MB4: Social Evaluation

Data collection continues. *Last call to sign up for data collection!* Labs have until the end of October to collect data. Visit our MB4 website to learn more & sign up.

Congrats to the MB4I: Individual Differences spin-off project for receiving funding from Kindfund to support coding efforts!
