This section covers some basic aspects of the project and steps that your lab will need to complete BEFORE you set up and run the experiment.

Green-Lighting

All labs (regardless of experience) must complete the green-lighting process outlined in the following sections and be given EXPLICIT approval by project leads to begin official data collection.¹

¹ Labs are welcome and encouraged to collect pilot data as part of the set-up process before being completing the “green-lighting” process, but this data will not be included in the analyses.
